The invisible flying foes(?) are quite capable it seems.
3 rounds of pursuit had passed since expansion was activated.
The psychic brush that Hurk felt was like a contact that decided not to attack. This could betray a psion with a wild talent and no modes of combat... or just a change of mind to not be the aggressor.
Mak thinks it's possibly mobat shaped (with a rider) Smaller than Hurk... they are rather common in the ancient hills and crags here.
His attempt to learn his enemies' weakness is resisted. Save made.
Laahk, Hurk and the pterrax attempt to lash at their enemies' psyche. Hurk and the flying lizard each receive a single tangent before the glowing mass passes through the portal.
I'm going to probably let psychic combat go on if immediate pursuit through the wormhole is attempted. But if there's hesitation, it will be cut off either the following round or when the wormhole closes.

Howl stops both his forward momentum and psi attacks and stares into the portal opening while silently hovering. He will try to see every detail he can both in the foreground and off into the distance until it closes: Any noticeable natural features, buildings and/or discernable land shapes.
Once closed he will circle back and rejoin the ground team, dismiss his enlargement and reshape into his jet black B'rohg form.

I just want to make sure Mak doesn’t go alone.
You’re currently about a hundred feet in the air. Those on the ground see some faint light in the air a few miles distant where the portal and faerie fire and continual light are found. Looks like small will o’ wisps from this distance.
I don’t regard wormholes as having a “see through” property. One would need to shove a head or face through the breach.

Understood, no head shove in then and return to group.

Mak stays on Hurk and directs his Pterrax back to camp.
"Great, now we'll have to keep an eye out for a group with a cigar smoking elf."

-Kem had one of those extenuating sessions like in the Arena and stops in place for a second - Could it be that in this rush something could have been dropped unintentionally? It could be a really good clue..' - Kem thinks to self whilst looking around
[OOC: Contact gives the option to mentally talk?]

Back at the camp, Mak will offer the nap spell to any casters/psionicists who might benefit from it. They'll all sleep for 1 hour, then be good to go.

Pallia is just waiting to see how she can be helpful, while holding the banner. Unfortunately without knowing where the invisible creatures are, or if they're even in range, she can't do much to help about that.

Once rests are done HurK asks the group "Anyone have divination magics they can use on the cigar Laakh grabbed?"Mak takes the half smoked cigar and taps the ash off the end of it into his open palm. He then encants a divination over the ashes. ((Clues of Ash, Lv.2 Dark Sun spell. Reveals a smoky vision of the last 8 minutes before this part of the cigar was smoked.)) ((Mak hp 42/42, AC 6, Spells remaining: 1st 6/6, 2nd 4/5, 3rd 5/5, 4th 3/3))

Sadly, know location is a personal effect. Had you followed and not known where you had popped into existence... it could have revealed where you were. Using know location here would simply state, "The guarded springs of Mak the Druid" or something similar.
Casting clues of ash, however...
A smoky vision is seen by Mak. A tall, flame tattooed elf holds the cigar in his left hand. A large black blade is held in his right. A town is seen behind a small campfire. Sharp wooden walls. Brambleweed. Almost looks like an outdoor prison camp. A woman with a feathered headdress and a pair of flint small axes stands a bit away from him, tosses a small pouch to his feet. He nods. An elf in robes next to him picks it up.
Words are exchanged as a small impish man, bedecked as a shaman or warlock slowly walks up behind the feathered woman, grinning evilly. He makes all manner of arcane gestures. The elf fades from sight, as does his robed friend.
Something nudges the cigar smoking elf. He shuffles about. You see twin glowing peaks. More mountains.
Airborne.
A steaming lake below.
A portal opens and...
End vision.
