Steering clear of where Q points out the trap, Attilius looks for hidden seams/secret doors on the walls, floor and ceiling.

Attilius waits in the statue room for the 2 separate traps to be removed. He'll keep rear security while looking down the hallway towards the outside.

[Elven: "By my breath!"] 'Muiko exclaims on sight of the mural.  He will study it closely, paying particular attention to the apparent visage of a living Aman.

The Detect Magic he had cast had a duration of 18 rounds, is it still active and if so, does anything Detect as Magic?

The floor covering the pit seems to be concealed with illusionary magics. The other door with the rune also detects as magic, alteration & enchantment if I didn't already mention it.

"Beware! The door to the north is Enchanted with Transmutation magicks, perhaps the same caster as the paltry illusion disguising the pit" 'Muiko announces when he notices.

To the left wall (south), there is a magnificent fresco scene played out upon the rock in aged plaster. Much like a 70's van with a sick fantasy drawing on it, there is a tower (perhaps the one just outside even) with a dark crimson and green robed figure raining flaming rocks upon a multitude of dying flame cultists. She stands looking at it for some time then says "This is clearly Aman, those are his nightmare beasts most likely, and that must be his brother Myron. And those are leaders of the troll-kin factions I would assume. So now we have some idea of what happened to Tnor'morken. The flame cultists somehow played a role in attacking them. Maybe they used to be part of the troops of Myron when he was still actively seeking their destruction before repenting, maybe they were part of Manu's army, or they could be a third independent faction. Maybe they were after the worms book that Aman has had all along for ages. Certainly something I'd ask him if I were to bump into him again, which I somehow have the feeling we will."

The trap in the NW corner is a simple illusion of the floor covering a pit. This one is only ten feet or so deep, no spikes and has what looks to be niches cut like a ladder in the east side of the hole. It is also less crude than the spiked pit in the room prior. The walls are of grey stone brick.

"Could this pit trap at the north door be connected with the one in the other room over? Like some underground connected hallways? Why else would you create such chutes with seemingly created on purpose ladder functions if not using it as an alternative mode of transporting through this facility? If nothing else, it ought to make us wary for being flanked or surrounded."

- Shrugging her shoulders - "I don't know, but I'm not looking to test that theory. I don't know what Myron made for a life but if he's as powerful as who we know, I would rather prefer not to tempt fate"

Attilius takes out his 50' giant hair rope and ties one end to his heavy Maul's handle. Kneeling behind his tower shield for cover 5' from the edge, he'll swing it a bit in a circle to give it momentum then fling it down the empty hole in the ground to see if he springs any type of trap.

If nothing happens his lean in to get a better look...

Looks like a pit. If you want so search for secret doors or something you'd likely have to go down there. For Att, it'd be a tight squeeze.
