Initiative: 8 (rolled 10, -2 for Dex)
Intention: swap places with 'Muiko, possibly adding a spell being cast.

Round 2:

Coden throws his up and covers the tari, seeing that she's heavily wounded. (Full defense, parry) His faith is in Attilius. Very little stands before his strikes. Skrye becomes invisible to undeath. Umbris' stone hits, but does not drop the serpentine threat.

Another deadly red flash erupts from the same area as before. Red carbon burnt singe. Flash bang blast. This bolt of lightning rebounds less effectively as the crypt thing moves to bite and lash the goliath. It manages to hit twice! The bite and tail manage to connect deeply through his armor. The bite does 8 damage and I need a save vs spell or drop 1 point of Strength. The tail whips about the goliath's neck and jerks, for 16 damage!

This lightning blast strikes for 17 damage and affects Attilius, Coden, Skrye and Umbris. Three saves vs spells will be needed for Attilius and two for the rest of you - each roll for Coden and Skrye can take a +4 bonus to their rolls. Save for 8 damage.

However, the giant gladiator manages to tear it apart after that, ripping bones from his neck, slashing it down into the stone floor and stomping it to bits.

This is when 'Muiko and Quila hear loud noises approaching from the hallway behind the capstan.

Like a slithering rumble and loud heh of heavy breath, they hear.

[Attilius]

"FUCK DIS CUNT!" Attilius growls angrily as he lifts his foot from the pulverized bones underfoot. "NO SKULL FOR YOUS, SHORTY..." He then pulls the remaining bone fragments out of his neck. Which in turn releases even more blood down his breastplate. Between the water cask rupture, bone dart dust all over his torso and thighs plus trickling blood, he's a visceral bloody mess.

That's when it hits him "UUGGGNNHhhh" the gladiator groans exhaustedly as he leans and put his weight against the coffin "You moved just in time Niachi, that... that bony FUCK had poison in it's fangs too..."

Round 3
-70 HP; -1 Str

He quickly picks up his unbroken darts and stuffs them into his hip sack on his belt.

Gets zapped, but thanks to a mix of his halfling luck and amazingly nimble reflexes, dodges the worst of the lightning. Twitching, he shakes himself like a dog

"Whoa, Iva heard of riding the lightning before, but I was always told it'd be for the medicinal powders the shaman kept snorting! Not actual lightning!"

"Don't get too comfortable, we're getting more company!" Muiko says as he turns around to head back into the room again.  He slips into the space where the defeated bony snake was, between the sarcophagus and wall.

Round 3 Initiative: 8 (rolled a 9, -1 for Dex; 11 if he can cast too)
Round 3 Intention: Move past party into room (and Cast Dispel Magic on sarcophagus if possible)

Can Quila have stepped up to Atilius at the end of round 2 and cast an Aid (lvl 2) for 5 hp of healing (only temporary, for 9 rounds, but I suspect we need what we can get) and the added benefit of a Bless (+1 to attack rolls and saves for 9 rounds)?

Niachi spasms in cold unrelenting pain as shadows disapprove of some illusionary phantasm he tried to manifest. Seeing the snake thing destroyed he limps towards that corner.

(Failed CON roll attempting Invisibility. Last L2 slot burned. He takes ? damage) To Atillius:

"Thanks for taking all that. Gouge on! Magic traps still on the coffin."

He looks grim as he shakes his hands loose for another try at casting to save his skin. for whatever's next.

[Quila Oris (John M.)]

Round 3 initiative: 7 (rolled 4, -2 for dex, +5 for spell)

Quila will walk up to Niachi, lay a hand on his trembling shoulders, and say "Let me help you a bit friend."
She will also cast an Aid (lvl 2) on the shadow elf, healing him for 7 hp (only temporary, for 9 rounds) and the added benefit of a Bless (+1 to attack rolls and saves for 9 rounds).

Shen then turns around, and braces herself for what is to come next.

He notices the lightning coming from the coffin/stone thing in the center of the room (At least, he THINKS thats where its coming from), and he attempts to destroy the trap to stop it from continuing to fire off bursts of magic

Niachi stands taller from Quila's assistance and focuses on a longer, more complex casting on the following round.

"I'm stable, thanks. How about Scry and Atillius?"

He waits for the next lightning bolt.

- Although she's hidden, the magic hits her in an odd way - 'A lightning bolt inside a cave?' - thinking to herself as she curses that hideous creature and bites her urge for screaming in pain.
She holds it and calls the soil of earth to heal some of her wounds
