"Coden, look beyond the door with your clairvoyance. We need to know what we're dealing with in case a patrol shows up. Hell, it might even become a distraction while we escape down the sewer."

"So, what are our other options" Rizla asks as he cracks his knuckles and proceeds to pop every joint back to both shoulders, followed by his neck with a tilt to the right then left. "I'll not shy from combat, though I only wish there were more spectators" he says as he surveys the assembly before turning his attention back upstream. |

To Khuv: "Save anything you got for a psi defense. I say we get up those stairs for a defensive position. With Coden and I on Safe Path, we can hopefully get us all across the bridge. Not holding hands. Or we can teleport someone across to cover us with ranged? Anyone got a bag of sand to pour over the bridge heh...."

The biggest question is if Coden uses his extra senses to look beyond the door (like Hurk suggests). You do hear muffled shouts and splashes further up the shit stream.  The 12' tunnel looks similar to this. Except the water reaches halfway up the pipe. (Where Rizla came from.) The exit tunnel is smaller. Perhaps only 8 feet wide. The water reaches higher in this one. Exiting that way would put Coden up to his neck in sewage. Perhaps the stone bridge here was originally where some sort of filtration or blockage removals are/were performed? |
