Mak replies to Hurk, "I've only recently come to understand the strange powers and magics of others. There are more similarities than differences, so I would work with the assumption that Sixteen Psurlon remain to be killed in South Ledopolis."
Nearly exhausted of most of his magics, Mak will wander the grounds of this place to learn of it.

"Bookslave, is this where you were born and trained? Do they have facilities for washing? *turning to Khuv* If they do, am I allowed to use them? I would like to follow the bookslave's suggestion and clean up" *gestures vaguely at himself*

Hurk nods his understanding then gives Mak a brief rundown of the school, where to stay away from and who the main teachers are. "Bookslave, is this where you were born and trained? Do they have facilities for washing? *turning to Khuv* If they do, am I allowed to use them? I would like to follow the bookslave's suggestion and clean up" *gestures vaguely at himself* The half giant chuckles "Riz, it's HurK, and yes and yes. I would be happy to direct you..." HurK gives Riz and everyone else not familiar, directions to the washing area/privy's/common areas to relax in.

From an earlier description of the Cerbran:
The Cerebran is located on the outskirts of the city, by the shores of the Silt Estuary. It is an impressive collection of majestic marble buildings surrounded by groves of olive trees. The last few weeks (now months) have been interesting, as would be refugees from Tyr have tried camping in the groves. This did not go well for the squatters, as the city had great pride in their academy. The students were encouraged on practicing their arts to remove the masses instead of tending tree & vine. They were quite successful. Iphignea, the Speaker, is quite pleased... as the quick removal has kept her from dealing with Andropinus and his templars.
But things carry on at the halls of the psions. The Cerebran boasts up to a hundred students at any one time. Due to this number, a large support staff is needed. While many are half elves or human, a strange number of halflings are on staff. Not so much as teachers, but as help. Much of this is due to the master of psychometabolic studies, a warrior halfling, Gitmog, who teaches this discipline as well as the arts of basic combat... a different style than is generally taught in the Legion's ranks.
***
Gitmog is visibly stressed when Hurk manages to catch him after one of his lessons.
"What happened in South Ledopolus? Why was Shardivan yelling in my head this morning? Three score dwarves murdered in the night? Fires set?"

HurK motions to speak away from the schools students ear's. "A Ssuron incursion Master. Unfortunately the dwarves were thralls of the creatures and were used as cannon fodder I'm afraid. We helped put out the fires after the battle though. We found a massive lake of fresh water under South Leo as well. I brought the 3 worms that were killed for questioning. Mak, A halfling druid of our party has already gleaned much for us."

Groves of olive trees?
Mak walks straight to the grove and plants himself next to the trunk of one of the trees.
"Much better."

"So you do know of what happened there? But why the slaughter? You do understand mental thralls are generally released when the controller dies, correct?" He looks at you suspiciously as he rubs his temples. "Did something go wrong that prompted this massacre? From what Shardivan said, most of the bodies were said to be found dead in their homes... is there a reason to think his apprentice is lying to him, Hurk? Please. I am confused and worried that Iphignea will turn you in to the Templarate if you can not properly explain yourself."

"Through the interrogation of the dead worm we have found that there are still 16 of their cell left unaccounted for, which may account for the thralls not being released when the three we have were killed. We also had help from some undead spirits we freed who helped slay the worms and their thralls."

Laakh tests his watchers by simply rising up from his cot after a few hours rest. He checks all his gear is in place and steps out to the olive groves for a stroll, whistling a happy tune. If he sees HurK and Gitmog, he will make his way closer, but not more than 20 feet away while watching their interaction. He inquires a runner about his weapon transaction to Wavir, or waits for Falmon's input.

*** Gitmog is visibly stressed when Hurk manages to catch him after one of his lessons."What happened in South Ledopolus? Why was Shardivan yelling in my head this morning? Three score dwarves murdered in the night? Fires set?"Do we witness any of the lesson as we're being shown around the grounds? If so, Rizla would observe their techniques and catalog faces/styles should they ever become opponents. He would then excuse himself to go wash up and shave all of his hair off. Afterwards, he'll seek out the party "Before she died, my mother called me Victor when the masters were not around. I would ask that you call me Victor now, 'Rizla the Rope Dancer' 'The Mad Monkey of Nibenay' these were the names given me by my masters. I will no longer answer to them, just as I no longer answer to the masters of my birth"

"Victor is a GRAND name!" HurK says smiling "Accurate as well, I have never known defeat in the arena. I must learn to control my mind, so that I may never experience what she did again."

Since Laahk can easily manipulate for power scores, this is the first layer of owners. We can go back further if you wish, but it is all generally all fluff prior the psurlon's possession.
Odd Talismans

Laahk will eventually hear back from one of Falmon's associates in between his examinations. Sure they'll buy the weapons, but expect comic book store salesman prices (1/3 listed value).
Rizla/Victor has missed any physical demonstrations. You have a feeling that your arrival has thrown something of a flux on general studies.
Gitmog adds in response to Hurk and Company, "I want to hear Coden's side to this. Before we sit with the Speaker. I have a feeling she's being mentally berated as we speak."
The olive grove looks well tended to Mak. The occasional scraggly orange and lemon tree is seen. If you eat one, they tend to be a tad bitter. That's generally soil quality... and this close to the silt about the best you're going to get.
