Kri-kcht, Mak, Pallia, Kem, Abez & Kleys set camp.
There is still game meat from the prior days in Bodach that have been charred and salted. Mak has it easy, knowing where edible plants are hid nearby. Eating tonight should be no issue.
Hurk, Laahk & Yishka take to the air.
It is no joke that the winds are strong here, far stronger than Hurk has ever really experienced. It is also loud, a general screaming din. If the nikaal and Kri-kcht are to be believed? It is well worse to the east. You are forced to climb higher to avoid some of the downward sharp winds from the NW.
There are a few very strange things to see from this vantage.
1. To the west? A huge drop off can be seen. Almost as if the earth ends as far as the eye can see trailing roughly north to south. You cannot see the ground below. Some sort of low clouds hover off the edge. You swear you can see some green a few brief times? The wind is strong though and causes your eyes to sting and water. You were able to make out the nikaal walking single file in this direction.
2. There are some occasional scattered bits of vegetation in the the distance in a few random spots. Perhaps oases. Small flocks of animal life can be seen. There may be human life about too, but at this height? Hard to tell if the flocks are manned.
3. Aged, worn rust-brown and ocher red mountains run about the south in patches like ground down fangs or teeth. Surrounded by multi-colored and layered badlands, plateaus and broken tortured, dry rock are the dominant features. Think South Dakota in the American West, but with Arizona summer heat.
4. To the east? White sand desert. Flatter sand than down south by Balic. You almost could mistake it as a salt flat if it weren't for occasional star-shaped dunes.
5. The cloud ray are no longer seen.
