They fight, vividly about ten to fifteen feet inside the room. Metal carapaces? Your characters have rarely (if ever) seen anyone in plate mail. Some of you have seen spirits from the Obsidian Plain wearing odd ghost armor, but the only person here to see someone in a full suit is actually Kri-kcht, who has seen the owner of a trading house in Urik wearing such oddities openly.
Hurk gets no mind to contact.
The masked villain? You assume it's playing the role in this scene? It calls flaming stones from the very ether in a series of booms and crashes that are simply deafening. Molten rock slams into the ground, the metal clad men, and even the monsters that flank him.
Only the regal man seems unaffected, as his two lieutenants fall, crushed by smoking molten stones. The masked antagonist turns and vanishes. The white-cloaked regal man stands alone, points his own flaming blade where the strange wizard once stood, sneers and shouts angerly as he stomps off alone, towards you...
Only to vanish.
Along with the flames, bodies and smoke, leaving the room much the same as you first left it. Kri-kcht strangely feels that he's seen that cloak before as he watched the man disappear, once worn by Hamanu, the King of Lions himself. This man looked smaller, perhaps younger.
***
In the other room...
Mak completely destroys the mold with such a strong spell, however, Kleys' memory remains blank of the last 24 hours or so.

HurK takes a deep breath "Okay then..." and looks around to count the team, making sure no one is missing (again)
No one is missing within your party. You all currently stand outside the 2nd room, except for Mak, who is dusting his hands of the 1st.
To your back? The spiral stone stairway that ends at this level - although you're sure there's more below, heck you can see a hole in the floor ahead of you in the haunted room.

"MAAAAAAK..." HurK whispers "We need your divination magiks in this room... mind the hole in the floor."

Mak takes a moment to search the room he's in, especially around the remains of the dark mold creature he just destroyed. "Just a minute..."
Then he rejoins the group in the second room and begins to focus his detect evil divination around the room and downward into the lower areas.

- Could it be... - Kem set a lock of her hair around her ear - a kind of eternal loop as it happened where we departed? Maybe a curse in this place?... - asking with doubts after all these last happenings

Pallia blinks a few times and then says, "But why replay here, inside a tower? I would expect a phantasm at the site where the battle occurred. I suppose someone could have built this tower on the site many years later? But... it's all so strange. And that one figure looked like the Lion of Urik."

- I do not know but something here is related to the event, maybe.. - Kem looks around with her darkvision for any element that could be related with war, both at her sight range, without stepping in - Maybe a siege was happening here or a betrayal was sorted before going to the field, maybe all the Lion's troops though that the e enemies perished and someone had enough vitality to curse them? Might be an obsession for whatever is here, related to the scene, like the focus task a dwarf could get
[OOC: I'll roll to check for anything related to war: marks, items, mosaics... I rolled a 14 in a d20, as I don't know what to roll against, but I don't move from my current position.]

"Maybe this was a stronghold of the pointed nosed defenders? Or the tower home of the masked one on their side? The twelve blue gem eyed wall paintings about are strong evidence for that at least. The masked one definitely was a strong wizard of some sort. Perhaps he's the one who enspelled the blue gems with evocation traps?" HurK whispers

Seeing the Cloak of the Lion of Urik, the kreen thinks: (" This cannot be. Strange...")
He tries to mentally access the racial memories and search for any knowledge about this item.

- As the combat finishes, Kem tries to remember any mark or symbol that the metallic armors seen might have engraved, and the style of armor
[OOC: I'm trying to remember any coats of arms, banners, tabards or symbols that could be unusual for my future 'trading post'. I think it should be an Int roll, but in any case I rolled a 5]

Kleys sees Kem (presumably) squinting and trying to concentrate. "What are you trying to memorize, Kem?"

OOC Bob, did you see this from a few days back:
(Laakh) will try Duo Dimension and slide into the gap of a door closest to the carving without eyes. Blades first, no light source, yet. He has no dimension when viewed from the side.
Need 14, rolled 17. -11 PSPs. Spends a minute seeing if Kleys, himself, or anyone in the team does stuff they would not normally do.
Next round (coinciding with battle vision?)
Duo Dimension again: Rolled 2, -11 PSPs, he loses depth and is 2 dimensional, invisible from the sides. tries sliding into same crack thru same door. If any ruckus from the main group, he will retreat and join them.

- If I saw any symbol somewhere else, if any called my attention for any reason and I could recall it from any other place - Replies to Kleys in low voice - By the way, how are you feeling now?

The half giant follows the halfling and gladiatrix in and immediately steps to the left 20' to investigate that part of the room and detritus...

To Kem: "Fine, but empty, thanks."
(Rolls for Observation NWP: rolls 3 vs. 19, makes it)
"Ah, well, I've already memorized all those for later reference, if you need..."
