OOC Bob, did you see this from a few days back: (Laakh) will try Duo Dimension and slide into the gap of a door closest to the carving without eyes. Blades first, no light source, yet. He has no dimension when viewed from the side.
Need 14, rolled 17. -11 PSPs. Spends a minute seeing if Kleys, himself, or anyone in the team does stuff they would not normally do.Next round (coinciding with battle vision?) Duo Dimension again: Rolled 2, -11 PSPs, he loses depth and is 2 dimensional, invisible from the sides. tries sliding into same crack thru same door. If any ruckus from the main group, he will retreat and join them. No, I missed this. But since you'd be looking while other events are going on? We'll say you checked the southern-most door. You're in a largish, possibly rectangular room. Since it's very dark? There isn't much to see. However, there are no sounds or movement - and you trigger no apparent traps. If you light it up? I'll add to the map and expound.

Now that Mak has rejoined the others he'll do a 360 scan using Detect Evil, including scanning down into the hole in the floor. (It has a range of 120 yards.)
"What'd I miss?"

Mak rejoins the bulk of the party and is filled in by the others as he scans the room that had a phantom battle but moments before. He detects no evil here. He needs to move forward to see down into the holes. Kem, Yiska and Hurk also enter the room at this point. Laahk is separate from the others, looking into the room due south... and he opens his light stone up. A decently large chamber is revealed, with an ornate dust-covered carpet taking up a majority of the floor. It's maybe 10x20 feet long... and might have once been vibrant in oranges and maroon and a geometric motif, but it's mute with age and said dust. There's also a few ruined beds, rotten & tattered linens. No apparent exits or entrances either. The ceiling is of ancient wood (as is the exposed dusty floor) and long faded tapestries line the walls. Kleys, Kri-kcht, Abez and Pallia are still in the stairway room unless otherwise decided. After Laahk's next action, I'll advance to the rest of you. Current map: darksunsouthtablelands.obsidianportal.com/maps/127616

Laakh returns to the party to tell them what he's found [and keep the group together]
-----------------
Once Laakh is back and has told us his findings, HurK will go examine the Southern wall with his light orb "Kleys, come help me. Maybe there's a secret door somewhere here?" he whispers to the elf.

"Let's find out."
(You know Kleys is not anymore capable of finding secret doors than anyone else, right?)

(Correct. Athasian elves get no such benefits.)
Well. Hurk, Mak, Kleys, Yiska and Kem walk into the room.
Hurk to the side near the walls with Kleys.
Mak towards the holes in the ground. Kem and Yiska nearby.
And the floor gives out in more than one section...
Causing you all to fall - all of you are at least 10' from the door when this happens.
The main issue? Once you begin falling, Hurk and Kleys are separate from the other three heroes (a bit more to the north). A wall divides somewhere below.
Mak sees multiple blobs of evil beneath his feet as the floor gives away... and some thick webs.
This means Laahk, Pallia, Abez, & Kri-kcht are still topside.
Immediate reactions? You have like one action before I start rolling falling damage.

Pallia rushes down to the edge of the pit and crouches down on her hands and knees, hoping that the group didn't fall into something deep enough (or spiked enough) to kill them outright.

Mak's arms touch his hips and immediately spread out to the sides, a fleshy tissue connecting between his hips shoulder and wrist catching the air, using his glider graft to slow his descent. Once on the ground he'll immediately retract the graft by touching his hips and will pull his metal gladius and his stone of Continual Light.
"We're not alone, I had several evil creatures detected down here before we fell."
((Glider graft requires a 30' fall to function normally. Any horizontal movement will be used to spiral down in effectively the same place.))

[Don't know his Levitation target score but rolled a 3] The half giant holds up his light orb high above his head to maximize it's light coverage... If distance allows he will use his blade to push himself off any walls or rubble into an advantageous landing zone [YOU DO NOT SEE MAK (OR KEM OR YISKA). YOU AND KLEYS ARE SEPERATE, A WALL DIVIDES SOMEWHERE BELOW.]

- Kem tries to hold to any protruding rock, column, corner available to stop the falling
[OOC: I rolled a 15 in a 1d20, trying to do grab something to stop me from falling down, if possible]

Rolled a 2 - can't use the website while at work).
