I've had a few late phone calls today along with some more allergy related BS. Gonna call it a night...

But also, happy birthday to Jason/Mak.

I'll be on early tomorrow for sure. Get those watch orders and plans for travel on the morrow posted and I'll get right to the game.

I'll be on later tonight. Having company over for an early dinner and we've been cleaning house a good chunk of the day.

Having severe computer issues. 3rd time running system repairs. If I can't get things up and running tomorrow I'll suffer through posting by phone.

Pretty sure my laptop is fried. I will respond in a bit, but I'm trying to decide my next actions in and out of game. Come on coffee. Do your thing.

Taking the night off. There's a chance I've got my laptop up and running (if it ever finishes reloading). Depending on what survives... I'll probably be effing with it for a bit before I call it a night.

I've been a tad out of it today. Probably allergy related. The kiddos have been rambunctious as well... we had some light rain so we didn't get to run around outside as much as we've done the last few days.

As a gentle reminder, any rolls you want to make ahead of time are great for the round we're on in combat.

So, you can totally roll damage even if you think it might not be a hit, etc... otherwise I'll just roll. (like magic missile)

Also, it is possible to run the die roller room on a smart phone. If it doesn't let you use the short cut or something funny, the main thing to remember is dropping a hashtag before the die command. Like #1d10 or #1d20.

Psions should always assume there's mental defenses in play - you can always roll me 2 d20s the first round an attack is used.

That's it. I'll write up this round in a few, the boys just went down to bed.

I'm going down to Dallas, Texas for the first time tomorrow and through the weekend for a memorial service. Old family friend passed away from Covid this last summer and they gave everyone a solid head's up. My posting might be a bit erratic. I will have my laptop...

...but there's a pool. I'll have a car and no kids or wife. And BBQ to seek out.

Probably still be more attentive than I'd like to admit though.

I forgot how close I was to this family growing up. I didn't get back to the hotel until 2:30 AM last night and tonight promises more of the same as my sisters are coming out as well. I'm going to put the game on hold until tomorrow.

Sofia, I didn't miss your psionics question. I just haven't had the time to properly look up the power and evaluate.

I did have my once every three to five years In-N-Out burger though.

Okay, I'm back. I'll form a post after I catch up.

I had a real great time for the most part, but I still dislike Texas. There is an ironic taint to the trip when you're celebrating the life of a man that died from a disease that the locals, for the most part, are in denial of.

Very limited mask use. People only putting the masks over their nose when an authority figure walked by. Some very openly racist behavior as well. Not with my immediate company, but definitely apparent in the background.

Anyways, glad to be home.

Last day of my kiddo's school today. My schedule opens up insanely after this week. My posting will probably be more fluid throughout the daytime. On days of perfect weather? I intend on being outside with the kids as much as humanly possible... but judging from this spring? It feels like this summer is going to be a scorcher.

I still intend on holding to the bare minimum of a post or two after the boys go to sleep, but be aware that I intend on getting more morning writing in as well.

A reminder for anyone who wants to game in the LA area, I'll be in from July 17th to the 30th. We're house sitting, there's a pool, close to the beach and we'll have transportation. If I cook, it'll be vegetarian or possibly vegan fare - I intend on blocking out 2 evenings at least depending on everyone's schedule.
