Today I've been wiped out. We leave to go home tomorrow and get back late.

Putting the game(s) on hold until Saturday. I do want to start the Celik game soon as well... just need to recharge the mental battery a bit and get back to my home base.

We're a bit worried/on edge about the rising covid numbers here in LA and our traveling via plane tomorrow. More for my kids than anything else as they're both under 12. Likely we'll double mask, but damn. Of course this happens after we finally feel the semblance of normality once again.

My hope is we get invited back out west next year. If that's the case? Barring any other apocalyptical shenanigans we'd probably host or hang out again.

My mother in law had a stroke today. I will resume posting tomorrow.

Today might be a wash. There's likely to be a funeral soon, MIL is not doing well at the hospital. Stroke was worse than originally thought. On the way over to visit now after I drop my boys off with family.

My mother in law passed early afternoon yesterday. There's a good chance that we'll be consolidating, selling and moving soon. I apologize in advance if posting gets sporadic in the near future if I need to be dealing with adult responsibilities and the like. We told the kids today, and it seems like they've taken it okay so far. But this is the first time this has happened to a family member they were close to. I assume more issues after it fully registers.

The biggest stress that really ever got to me was when we were closing on this condo - and I'm probably going to have to play a major part in selling two homes and buying another one... the main reason this needing to be expediated is that my mother in law lived in a 55 year and older community. While I currently don't have the details to the home owner's association, I can imagine that they're able to levy fines on families that don't meet the criteria for owning in their group. My sister in law currently resides there and we're going to see if she wants to go in on a split level home if one makes sense for her/us.

This will mean switching the kid's school as well. But due to the fatalistic musings of my MIL before she passed, I've had more time to think about these contingencies over the last 3+ years and where the ideal area to move to would be.

I'm planning on downloading a large file tonight assuming the weather doesn't disconnect my wi-fi (expecting severe T-storms, wind, etc... in the next few hours to whenever).

Had a long meeting with a potential realtor this evening and the kids start the first day of school tomorrow. I'll post tomorrow - my brain is a tad scattered.

Apologies for the Celik game. I will update tomorrow with a map and more content. Today I bought three major appliances for the home we inherited in order to sell quicker - and I have enough adult tasks keeping me busy getting 2 homes ready for sale.

I'll get there, just a tad slower than I like.

Yesterday I speed ran 6 homes with a realtor. I've also been working on getting two homes into working order and still juggling my kid's school schedule.

Today Anne was off. We did a lot of housework, cleaning and consolidating. We have a lot left to do, but it felt like progress. I will post soon this evening, once my boys quiet down. A full week and a half of school and missing grandma has caused a few episodes (usually when they're tired and can't admit it).

A shout out to Jesse, who got a response from Troy Denning himself on the 'ol Twitter. I hope you can parlay that into a cover letter/interview for if you ever get in the position to write 5E (or 6E at this point) content for Dark Sun.

Sorry I haven't been on much the last two days. I've been doing a lot of deep cleaning and just passing out early. I will catch up a bit tonight, but I'm still a bit wiped.

Ugh. My kids are running fevers. Due to Covid policies I need to get negative tests before they're let back into school. I have that spread out over tomorrow... but because I needed to get Anne and I checked as well, the appointments are spread out over the afternoon.
