Ugh. My kids are running fevers. Due to Covid policies I need to get negative tests before they're let back into school. I have that spread out over tomorrow... but because I needed to get Anne and I checked as well, the appointments are spread out over the afternoon. It's cool man, get the tests, stay safe/sane and we'll be here for ya |

So we all passed as *not* having Covid. The littlest one stayed home with me today since he still had a cough from whatever cold he picked up. I should be more tapped in as the weekend approaches. Sorry if I haven't been as attentive, but life, man.

Yeah. My daughter got sick with a runny nose, cough and fever two days before school started, and was just barely well this morning in time for the 2nd day of school.

Because of the low fevers and coughing that was on and off, we all ended up getting tested. Thankfully we were all negative. Knocked out a half week's worth of errands today and Anne has been working her a$$ off. Helluva week (gets up and pours another glass of red).

So the most recent home passed my wife's inspection.
This weekend I'll be monitoring some appliance purchases/installation and getting the MIL's home into shape for pictures for the realtor.
Hopefully things work out. Crossing my fingers.

Just - like, just got approved for a loan.
I will post tomorrow. Not sure if there's any other offers on the property we're looking at...
But my focus is elsewhere. I've been contacting our real estate agent and planning the next steps to get my MIL's house up to photo readiness.

So today was a helluva day. We have a loan secured (at a more logical rate), a verbal agreement on the home we were looking at and I spent 4 hours cleaning my MIL's home before pics this Friday when we put it up for sale proper.
I'm shot.
Kids are off tomorrow. I will have time to post and think then.

Written agreement. Lawyer tapped. Kiddos had the day off, so we did library, shopping, bank, park and video games today. My carpal is acting up, so it might be short post tonight.

Um... Had the home inspection today. It was over two hours long and we had to drop off the kids further than that. Just got home and now have to sign 32 pages for our home loan. We also somehow have a walkthrough for the house we're selling... even though we haven't technically put it on the market (that was supposed to be late Monday or early Tuesday).
My apologies, things are moving a lot, a whole helluva lot faster than originally planned/anticipated. I will focus on the game tomorrow.

Oof. That didn't happen as planned.
Had a lot of little stuff drop on me today and ended up having to watch the kids more while my wife was out getting other errands done.
This week I need to do a lot of cleaning in my current residence... as well as packing up some of the less used kitchen dishes/equipment for storage. I should be able to sneak some time in earlier once the kids go to school, unless the realtor, radon test guy or mortgage broker needs something specific from me.
