Looking under the bed, you see a blob of clear snot maybe about half the bed's width. Think ectoplasm. Or clear jello/aspic.
Upon your discovery?
It slowly seeps into the floorboards.
You may have one action if you wish as it tries to escape.

Now that the stinging creature is dealt with, Pallia kneels by HurK's body to check for any faint signs of life remaining.
(Healing check, failed with a natural 20)

"Oh no you don't!" Mak calls out as he chants a powerful incantation to freeze it in place.

(Honestly was a little on the fence with that one, but hey, seems viable.)
The plasm-y ooze stops, half here; half there.
Laahk gets a great view as it jiggles, yet frozen.

The flaming hands do not entirely kill it. However, the bed is starting to light.
Black smoke abounds.

Laakh covers his face with his dust mask, tries to smother the flames, if unable, quick scan around the room. Bob: what other furniture/items in this room?
""Help -coff coff- with this fire!!"
If nothing of interest, and no means of extinguishing flames, quick exit and shut the door to keep flames from spreading.

There's a table and chairs.
Hurk did not find anything useful about the room before, just dusty, mind moth-eaten linens...
All stuff that contributes to the flames. Which are, in fact spreading. The ooze shrivels at the heat.
Kem might want to back off as she'll take some fire damage next round if it isn't extinguished or left to burn out.

Kleys will grab a blanket/rug/tapestry/curtain to beat out / smother the fire.

Mak sees the fire spreading and his Rhul-Thaun instincts kick in. "Fire must be contained..." he quietly mutters to himself as his hands begin a circling motion. Squeezing his eyes shut and muttering in the ancient tongue the very air seems to fill will moisture that pours forth, covering just about everything in the room with a short downpour of rain.
((Mak casts Cloudburst, Lv.3 Priest Spell Compendium, 30' diameter cylinder, height limited to the ceiling of this room, 1 round duration))
((Mak 42/42hp, AC 6, Hold Plant 1/8 rounds, Spells Remaining: 1st: 6/6 2nd: 5/5 3rd: 4/5 4th: 0/3))

Between that and the tapestry taken from the central room, it doesn't take long to put out. But there's a lot of smoke, coughing and a general feeling of stuffiness. It also smells burnt, like singed hair. What next? Hurk's 1200# body lays there behind you, heavy and immobile. The goliath held a good amount of your gear as well. darksunsouthtablelands.obsidianportal.com/characters/hurkTake a look and tell me what you carry... as well as any plans for the body. You have time as Kleys has committed about 2 hours to searching already.

After and only after fire/smoke are dealt with, and nothing appears out of the shadows to do Things to us, Laakh asks the healers of their options to revive Hurka. And he Detects Life again, 360 range centered on the body, hoping this is just some bad sorcery or whatnot.
Next actions would be to help Secure the Perimeter: deal with the imp, the blob, any magical wards, any proficiences, and if psionics are functioning as normal, be alert for Observation Sense and Danger Sense. Use chalk etc to mark our passage and explored rooms. Or commit them to memory.
Next, after we are ensured a bit of 'safety' Laakh will silently divide up the cheese to everyone, as much as they want to carry. Approx 120 wheels in all. He assumes surveillance picks up its ability. He cuts up 3 wheels into quarters with his wrist razors and packs them in as many pockets as he can get to easily.
Talisman and Medallion are also top priority. He will take the psi battery talisman if nobody objects, and introduce himself to old Durmus when needed.

Or commit them to memory. (OoC: Observation roll - 11 vs. 19, success) Kleys memorizes the rooms and path we've taken completely.

Mak moves over to Hurkette's corpse and blesses it. "This should keep you safe until we get a chance you bring you back. Hang in there big guy."
Mak will pick up the Warstaff to examine it's size before wrapping it back in the spider's silk and placing it on Hurkette's body. "Hold onto this."
((Mak casts Proof Against Undeath on Hurk's corpse. Lv 1 DS spell.))
